“Kita punya 64 juta UMKM yang menyumbang 61 persen untuk PDB,” ungkap Gibran dalam salah satu pemaparannya di debat cawapres 22 Desember 2023.
Prabowo-Gibran mengusung visi-misi “Asta Cita” dalam kontestasi pemilu 2024 ini, yang salah satu di antaranya ialah ekonomi kerakyatan melalui penguatan UMKM. Sisi yang ingin mereka dorong untuk berkembang utamanya yaitu industri kreatif.
Gibran juga menyatakan bahwa penguatan UMKM ini bertujuan untuk membuka 19 juta lapangan kerja, yang merupakan salah satu agenda mereka.
2. Perlindungan UMKM
Melihat UMKM menghadapi berbagai macam tantangan di era digital ini, pasangan capres-cawapres nomor urut 02 juga bertekad melindungi UMKM dari berbagai dan ancaman di era digital yang semakin kentara.
“Harus dipastikan para e-commerce bisa comply dengan regulasi kita, jadi sudah tidak ada lagi, price dumping, dan barang-barang cross border yang membunuh UMKM kita kedepan kita harus melindungi umkm dan kita ke depannya disiapkan harus penguatan SDM manusia-manusia digitalnya,” ungkap Gibran.
3. Kredit dan Peringanan Pajak UMKM
Selain melanjutkan program kredit usaha yang sekarang telah berjalan, Prabowo-Gibran juga berencana memaksimalkan kredit UMKM yang menyasar pelaku bisnis dari kalangan milenial.
Pajak untuk UMKM yang omzetnya masih di bawah 500 juta juga direncanakan akan diringankan menjadi 0. Selain itu, UMKM juga akan mendapat kemudahan mendapatkan KUR sebesar 200 juta tanpa agunan.
4. Pendampingan UMKM
Dalam debat cawapres, Gibran juga menyebutkan bahwa salah satu program yang mereka rencanakan adalah pendampingan UMKM.
Pihaknya berencana memperbanyak inkubasi UMKM untuk menciptakan bisnis-bisnis yang merakyat namun tetap mengedepankan inovasi dan mampu bersaing di tengah perkembangan zaman.
